David P. Robertson

Age 67, of Canton died Sunday, May 1, 2022 in his home following an extended illness. Born February 1, 1955 in Canton, Ohio to the late Paul and Betty (Kalinouski) Robertson. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1973 graduate of Canton South High School. Dave retired from the Canton Township Road Department in 2014 where he had served as road superintendent and crew chief. He had formerly served as a volunteer fireman. David was known for his great sense of humor, his love of helping people and his love of the outdoors and mowing. Preceded in death by his faithful canine companion, Bear. He is survived by a daughter, Paula Robertson; three grandchildren, Jordan, Avery and Bailey; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Dave Homer, Donna and Terry Brown, Deborah and Steve Schaefer; a nephew Kyle Homer (Kelsea Daniluk); a niece, Shawna Brown. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Faircrest Park, 1001 Faircrest Street SW, Canton, OH 44706. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Faircrest Park.
