Emory Bolling

Emory H. Bolling, age 86, passed away on January 21, 2023 at home surrounded by family.

He was born on July 26, 1936 in Esserville, VA to Creed T. and Goldie (Cox) Bolling.

He graduated from J.J. Kelly  High School.

Emory retired from Laborers Local #1015 after 50 years of service.

He was a member of Louisville Baptist Church since 1968.

Emory loved golfing, the University of Kentucky basketball, and his Green Bay Packers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Diena Cottle-Bolling; son, Emory Lee (Tracy) Bolling; grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Bolling, Dakota Bolling; great-grandchildren, Ellison and Aurora Bolling; his sister Charlotte Spencer; half-sister, Theresa Bolling; and half-brother, Jimmy Bolling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Sue Bolling whom he was happily married to for 62 years and passed away on March 16, 2022; sisters, Cora and Bessie Bolling; and his brother Creed C. Bolling.

A funeral service will be held on Friday January 27, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harmon officiating. Friends may call an hour prior at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville, OH.
