Age 81, of Canton died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born in Sandy Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio on September 4, 1939 to the late Harry and Clara (Butt) Hadden. He was a life resident of the Canton area and a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. Gary was retired from Collins and Aikman. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hadden in 2007; four brothers, Harold, Junior, James, Robert Hadden; three sisters, Margaret Chaney, Lillian Tomer, Juanita Biechler; a sister-in-law, Jan Hadden; four brothers-in-law, Tom Chaney, Daniel Tomer, Clyde Hoopes, John Biechler. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Dan Jones, Laura and Pete Williams; one grandson, Dylan Williams; one brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Janet Hadden; one sister, Betty Hoopes; a sister-in-law, Jean Hadden; his special lady friend, Sharyn Smith and her family. A memorial gathering will be Sunday, Feb 14, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with masks and social distancing required.
