Harry was born February 15, 1924 to John and Edna Nimon in East Canton, Ohio, one of six children; brother Charles (deceased), John Henry (deceased), Aidren (deceased), James (deceased) and sister Mary (deceased).

Harry had a 45-year career as a railroad conductor with Amtrak where he worked along southern Ohio to Pittsburgh.  Harry married G. Louise “Lou” Williams, from Flushing, OH and relocated to Canton, OH.  Harry and Lou had two children and helped raise children in need from other homes.  In addition, they fostered three children from Vietnam; daughters Hua, Hahn, and son Phu. Eventually they relocated to Houston, TX to be near their son and his family where they resided for the rest of their lives. Harry and Lou were married 69 years.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lou, and daughter Rory.  Their children included Dr. Harry Nimon (spouse Marian Nimon), granddaughter Dr. Gloria (husband Scott Fawcett), granddaughter Jessica (husband John Swann), grandson Paul (wife Karen Nimon), granddaughter Veronica, great-grandson William Swann, great-granddaughter Marian Swann, and great-granddaughter Helen Fawcett.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10 – 11 am.
