James R. Motter
Age 79 of East Sparta passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021, in Aultman Hospital. He was born July 29, 1942, in Pike Township to the late Robert H. and Dorothea (Lungren) Motter. James was a 1960 graduate of Canton South High School and retired from the Hoover Company. He is preceded in death by one brother, Gary D. Motter. James is survived by four children, Sharmalee (Preston) Flott, Jamie (Michael) Hayden, Eric and Shannon Motter; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Cherie (Frank) Dugan; several nieces and nephews. There will be no public services. The family would like to thank the staff at Aultman Hospital for their wonderful care, support and guidance.
