Jonnie R. Gage

Age 64, of East Sparta passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 following a two-year battle with cancer. Born April 20, 1957 in Canton, Ohio to the late Louis and Kris (Muntean) Shaffer. She was a life resident of East Sparta. Jonnie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Robert Basham; four grandchildren, Blanton Bishop, Zackrey Taylor, Zander Taylor, Kodey Basham; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kris “Teet” and Michael Helm, Vic and Thomas Ledger; her boyfriend, Jeff Materna; a niece, Angela Ledger; a nephew, Michael Helm; several great nieces and nephews. The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
