Karen L. Barrick

Age 77, of Louisville passed away Thursday March 4, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. She was born May 19, 1943 in Canton to the late Claude and Edna (Bowman) Ogle. Karen was a 1961 graduate of Louisville High School. She retired from Giant Eagle at Washington Square as a cashier in 2003 and was a member of Cornerstone Church, Akron. Karen is survived by her husband, Jim Barrick to whom she would have been married 51 years on April 11th; one son, Jamie (Tammy) Barrick; one daughter, Loree Barrick; two grandchildren who were her world, Jacob “Buddy” Barrick and Peyton “Sweetie” Beeching. A graveside service will be Tuesday March 9, 2021 at 2:00pm in Union Cemetery, Louisville with Pastor Brenda Young officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Alexis and Gabby on the 4th floor at Aultman Hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Church Building Fund at 2445 S. Arlington Rd., Akron, OH  44319.
