Mariam Jean Hamilton

Age 84 of Canton South went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 3, 2021 after passing peacefully in her home. She was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1954 where she played the clarinet in the Lincoln Lion Marching band for four years and participated in the May Fiestas. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Brittia Davis; one brother, Don Davis. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Herbert Hamilton Jr.; devoted mother of three children, Scott (Edie) Hamilton, Sandy (Steven) Miller and Chris (Rob) Dine; cherished grandmother to six grandchildren, Nick (Diana), Matt (Reiny), Brooke (Ethan), Becca, Danielle and Chase; great-grandmother to four special great-grandchildren, Garrett, Eli, Chloe and Kolton. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice Services for the care provided to Jean. Due to the current pandemic, services will be private for family and close friends at a future date.
