Patricia A. Wardle

Age 87, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday September 6, 2022 in St. Joseph Care Center. She was born May 28, 1935 in Canton to the late Ray and Rowena (Vincent) Wardle. Pat was a 1955 graduate of East Canton High School. She was a lifelong member of the former Mapleton United Methodist Church where she devoted many years as secretary and a member of the choir. Pat retired from Timken Mercy Hospital billing department. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a huge fan of the Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. Pat enjoyed her time at the Alsatian and the Foltz Community Center in East Canton. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Dale L. and Joan Wardle in 2020. Pat is survived by four nephews and one niece, James Wardle, Robert (Jiny) Wardle, Michael (Linda) Wardle, Kathryn Davala and Mark (Marcy) Wardle; eight great nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Sara), Lindsay (Darryn), Brandon, Madelyn, Mallory, Michael, Matthew Wardle and Emily Davala; great-great-niece, Winnie Wardle; great-great-nephew, Dalen Powell. Per Pat's wishes, a private family service will be conducted in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Care Center and Aultman Hospice for their care and compassion given to Pat. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Care Center or Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.
