Phillip G. Showalter

Age 76, of Massillon died Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born June 24, 1944 in Canton, OH to the late Frank and Mildred (Sell) Showalter. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Phillip was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the NRA. Preceded in death by one sister, Ethel Shaver; two brothers, Frank Sr. and Ronnie Showalter. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gene Showalter, Terry and Anna Showalter; eight grandchildren; one stepbrother, Richard McCulla. Friends may call Wednesday, Feb 3, 2021 from 6 – 8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Masks and social distancing will be required. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
