Richard C. Hodnick

Age 84 of Massillon passed away Friday September 24, 2021, in his home. He was born January 22, 1937, in Canton to the late Anthony J. and Dorothy (Duff) Hodnick. Richard was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School and retired from the Hoover Company after more than 45 years of service. He is preceded in death by an infant sister, Judith and one sister, Barbara Allen. Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia (Brooks) to whom he was married 60 years; three children, Debbie (Jeff) Harsh, Michael (Kerri) Hodnick and David Hodnick; six grandchildren, Stephen and Tiffany Ocheltree, Alyssa Harsh, Andrew, Jackson and Kate Hodnick; three great-grandchildren, Anthony and Mason Musisca and Chase Minor. A graveside service will be Tuesday September 28, 2021, at 2:00pm in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends and family will be received prior to the graveside service, Tuesday 12:45-1:45 in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home.
