Roy A. Garvin

Age 70 of Canton passed away Sunday October3, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. He was born November 6, 1950, in Valley Head, WV to the late Roy A. and Elva R. (Huber). Roy proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed by U.S. Steel and Diebold Research. He is preceded in death by one brother; three sisters of which his sister, Shirley (Don) Sterling helped to raise him; special cousin, Kenny Sterling. Roy is survived by two children, John (Teri) Garvin and Krista Garvin (Dave Hout); two grandchildren, Kristi (Jordan) Bales and Makenzie Garvin; his former wife, Marsha Heaston. Funeral services will be Friday October 8, 2021, at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Gene Carter officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
